The team based in Enstone, England, has raced under many names — Toleman, Benetton, Renault and Lotus — before becoming Alpine in 2021, backed by the Renault Group.
As Benetton it won titles with Michael Schumacher in 1994 and 1995, and as Renault it took back-to-back constructors' and drivers' titles with Fernando Alonso in 2005 and 2006.
Alpine fields a French works entry, with Pierre Gasly among its recent race-winning drivers.
