McLaren was founded in 1963 by New Zealand racer Bruce McLaren and entered Formula 1 in 1966. The team is based in Woking, England.
McLaren's greatest era came with Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost in the late 1980s, followed by Mika Häkkinen in the late 1990s and Lewis Hamilton's 2008 title. Its live championship and win totals are shown below.
