Williams was founded in 1977 by Sir Frank Williams and Patrick Head and is based in Grove, England. It remains one of Formula 1's most storied independent teams.
Williams won nine constructors' titles and seven drivers' titles, with champions including Alan Jones, Nelson Piquet, Nigel Mansell, Alain Prost, Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve.
After years in the midfield, Williams was sold to Dorilton Capital in 2020 and is rebuilding toward the front.
